Anyone looking forward to this one? I know that '08 was a great game, and from what I have been hearing - 09 promises to be even better. Now you can play six a side (which is insane), and I know the online play was solid..

T minus 2 days !!! I saw some things that I never saw in 08 (in the demo) -- for example, one of the Red Wing players skated untouched to my goalie, and kept trying to come up with ways to score when he got the rebounds. I just sat there in awe.

For the first time in a long time I was not feeling the hockey games last year. I really had a hard time getting into NHL 08 even. After playing both demos though I am thinking seriously about renting them and seeing if I get that feel back. I really used to like the 2k hockey quite a lot. I was even good at it for a while (remember some of our games Terry?), but last year just didn't feel well enough to get me to stick with it.
I will have to try and check both of you out for a game, it could have been the AI was what did me in as I did not play any XBox Live games last year with either hockey game.
