The average TV has two HDMI inputs. With HDMI becoming more popular, most people have more than two components that use HDMI resulting in a lack of compatable connections. You plug one end of the cable into an HDMI slot on your TV. The other end of the cable has two HDMI connections. I have my Xbox 360 and PS3 both connected to one HDMI jack on my television now thanks to the “Quick Switch.” The Switch automatically will detect the signal, so once you have it installed, there is nothing more to do. I did not notice any signal degradation or inaccurate color shift either. I highly recommend this device for anyone who needs an extra HDMI connection on their television.
